All the benefits, none of the grease
Deeply nourishes
Restores moisture to a dry, tight scalp and thirsty strands.
Reduces breakage
Strengthens hair from root to tip, so less snaps off.
Shine & softness
Brings back a healthy, glossy, touchable finish.
Fuller-looking hair
Supports the look of density and thickness over time.

Batana works differently
Most oils just sit on top of your hair and wash away. Real, unrefined Batana absorbs into the scalp — where healthy-looking hair actually starts — and coats each strand to lock in moisture.
Why your hair looks thinner & drier
Open cuticles
Moisture escapes the strand, leaving hair dry, brittle and dull.
Curl & coil structure
Natural oils can't travel down the strand — dry ends, more breakage.
Daily stressors
Heat, tight styles, color and stress weaken the hair over time.
Pure Batana oil helps tackle all three — nourishing the scalp and coating the strand to protect it.
What to expect
Softer & hydrated
Your scalp feels nourished instead of dry. Hair feels softer and easier to manage.
Less breakage
Hair feels stronger and more resilient, with visibly less shedding and split ends.
Fuller & healthier
Hair looks fuller and healthier, with more shine and visibly less damage.

An ancestral ritual, done right
For generations, the Miskito people of La Moskitia have used Batana oil to keep their hair strong, dark and full. We work directly with Honduran producers — hand-harvested, cold-pressed and prepared at origin, the traditional way.

How to spot real Batana
The market is full of diluted fakes. Here's how ours stands apart.
Texture
Solid at room temperature, melts on contact with skin. Fakes feel creamy, like peanut butter.
Color
One single rich brown — never green, grey, beige or yellow.
Scent
A natural, earthy, smoky aroma — like coffee or popcorn. Never synthetic or floral.

Ours is 100% pure, unrefined Batana — no fillers, no dilution, no chemicals.

3 ways to use it

Leave-in
Apply a small amount to damp hair, scalp to ends. No rinse needed.
Overnight
Massage into scalp and lengths before bed. Rinse or style in the morning.
Wash-out mask
Apply generously, leave 40 minutes, then shampoo out for a deep treatment.
Use 3–5× a week. In cold weather the oil may solidify — simply warm it between your hands. That's a natural sign of its purity.
